Philosophy Statement

Family of Christ Child Development Center and Family of Christ Elementary School are ministries of Family of Christ Lutheran Church that seek to educate and love the young of our community and share with them the grace that is ours in Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, “Let the little children to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matt. 19:14) These words stand at the entry into the Child Development Center, and are a reminder that Jesus does call all people to himself. His message and grace are for all, from the youngest in our community, to the oldest. The Child Development Center seeks to give the highest standard of loving care and instruction, modeling the message and ministry of Jesus. Learning standards are established based on developmentally appropriate practices. Our curriculum aims to inspire and challenge God’s children with a love of learning and continual growth in faith and knowledge.

The mission of Family of Christ Child Development Center is to provide a superior Christian education for our students by assisting Christian families to help their children develop their individual gifts-academic, spiritual, social, and physical-in a manner that brings honor and glory to God.
